Motivation Monday

Welcome to Motivation Monday! I will be chronicling my journey back to a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Each week I will discuss how the previous week was and set some goals for the next week. Healthy Steps

My Weekly Workout Routine:
  • Sunday - Rest and relax (Check)
  • Monday - Short 1 Mile Walk (Check)
  • Tuesday - Lower Body Weight Training (Check)
  • Wednesday - Short 1 Mile Walk (Moved and cleaned things after our Meeting)
  • Thursday - Upper Body Weight Training (Check)
  • Friday - Long 3 Mile Walk (Not Check... I lifted heavy boxes though)
  • Saturday - Swimming at least 30 Minutes (Suits are packed away, but I cleaned house for over an hour)

    Changes I've Seen This Week
    Well, I'm sore.  Does that count?  Not much change in my sleepiness, but I have been working on going to bed early and getting up early before LB wakes.  I love my sleep, but I suppose it is better to begin my day with a cup of coffee and my e-mails than a screaming baby...  I have noticed a change in my appetite.  I'm actually hungry now.  My metabolism is up; I just hope it stays this way.  I began birth control again and felt the hormones at work 10 minutes after starting back up.  I haven't gone on the crazy cleaning/baking craze yet, but I bet it's coming any day now.  Time to start monitoring for depression again.  My numbers have been green since Jan 1.  Let's keep this up!
