Why I Do This

This is why I do this, why I'm losing weight and getting healthy:
  • So I can be proud of my pregnant body one day and not ashamed that no one can tell if I even am.
  • So I'm not tired all the time.
  • So my depression will get better.  Even if losing weight doesn't help, the healthy food, exercise, and rest will.
  • So I can ride cowgirl and not be in pain or get too tired.
  • So I can fit into my original wedding dress and not have to stare at photos of the "fat dress" we had to buy at the last minute when my original no longer fit me.
  • So I don't have to suck in and stand "just so" for a photo.  Or take 5 just to get a good one.
  • So I can wear lingerie confidently without having to lay in only one position to look good.
  • So I can paint my toenails without my fat crushing my diaphragm, making it hard to breathe.
  • So I can wrap myself up in a towel after my bath and not need a bath sheet.
  • So the rolls go away!
  • So I can sit in my hubby's lap and not feel like I'm crushing him.
  • So I can have a dessert and not worry if it'll add 2 lbs!
  • So I don't have to keep granny panties in my drawer for "bloated" days.
  • So my sexy bras don't leave un-sexy pressure marks when I take them off.
  • So I can use a regular sized blood pressure cuff at the doctor's office all the time.
  • So I can fit in to a junior's size 12 jeans. (I was a size 6-8 in HS)
  • So I can turn men's heads again like I used to in college.
  • So I can exercise without feeling winded.
  • So I will weigh less than DH!  (He is about 185-190)
