Motivation Monday




Welcome to Motivation Monday! I will be chronicling my journey back to a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Each week I will discuss how the previous week was and set some goals for the next week. Healthy Steps

My Weekly Workout Routine:
  • Sunday - Rest and relax (Check)
  • Monday - Long 3 Mile Walk (Did not have this schedule yet)
  • Tuesday - Upper Body Weight Training (Did not have this schedule yet)
  • Wednesday - Short 1 Mile Walk (Did not have this schedule yet)
  • Thursday - Lower Body Weight Training (Did not have this schedule yet)
  • Friday - Short 1 Mile Walk (Check, by accident lol)
  • Saturday - Swimming at least 30 Minutes (Did not have this schedule yet)

    Changes I've Seen This Week

    I haven't noticed much change this week.  I am a little less tired now that the bleeding from my miscarriage has stopped, but I still have quite a bit of sleep loss to make up for.  Good news though... I read an article yesterday that says new research finds that you can in fact "catch up" on sleep.  If you loose sleep during the week, sleeping 10+ hours on Saturday or Sunday will recharge your mental capability just as though you slept normally.  Don't make a habit of it though because by Wednesday you are back to being sleep deprived.  It won't hold you over all week long in other words.  I am hoping that next week I will see some great results with my new work out schedule.
