Motivation Monday


Welcome to Motivation Monday! I will be chronicling my journey back to a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Each week I will discuss how the previous week was and set some goals for the next week. I am doing my Motivation Mondays a little differently now. I will still be weighing in, but instead of tracking my progress by workouts done and pounds lost, I will be sharing some healthy steps I've taken during the week and some positive changes I have noticed.

Healthy Steps
I did my shopping and did NOT buy bread or cheese!  Go me!  I am doing well with eating my veggies.  I bought a case of canned veggies to munch on.  I did buy some individual pizzas and ramen lunches.  I figure if I make an individual pizza I am less likely to each half a 8 in pie.  I don't eat pizza often anyways, so I think it will be an okay treat.  If not, I won't buy any more of them.

Today I am going to look on Amazon and order a stationary bike machine.  Not the full sized ones since I don't have room and shipping would be horrible, but one of those ones you can use while sitting in a chair.  I figure it's pretty much the same as what I use at the gym and having one at home will allow me to work out on the days I can't get to the gym. I am also going to buy a yoga DVD.  I have yoga for weight loss, but I really think I need something soothing for relaxation too.  I am so high strung!

Changes I've Seen
I have a really cool change I've seen to share but it's going to get it's own post!  To peak your interest... it has to do with clothing size...  Oh, and my numbers are all green!  Woot!  Time to keep heading in this direction.  Nothing like seeing the numbers in green to make me want to go work out!
